What we accomplished before break!

We've been working hard on getting a good base of stuff done before our 2 weeks off of school when we hope to accomplish a lot! Here's what we've been up to:

Kitchen cabinets coming out... discover old paint colors! These people liked the bright colors!

First cabinet down! Opens things up so much...

Before any cabinetry comes down *sorry these are in reverse order, can't figure out how to switch them without starting over*

Removing the wall covering that was glued down left a less then sightly wall! :(

Beginning to become clear about why the ceiling was covered!

Changed the lock on the doors so we're the only ones with keys!

So many improvements!

Trim & tack strips are off, wall coverings removed... proof of many hours of hard work!!

First Improvements

Today Josh completed the first improvements to our new home! He removed ALL of the carpeting that was in high need of replacement after being older and having had cats live there. So exciting to get the first bit of work done!!

Carpet is out of the bathroom!!!!!

Our first HOUSE

Josh and I are thrilled to be first time homeowners!

We bought a little "fixer-upper" that we can't wait to make just to our liking... perfect for our little family and Miss. Phoebe!
